The Third Heaven (II Corinthians 12:2)

I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven. And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter. (II Corinthians 12:2-4)

God is Everywhere and Permeates All Dimensions... He is Total Good, Righteousness, and Love:

  • The GODHEAD is made up of GOD the Father – God the Son Jesus Christ the Messiah – and God the Holy Spirit.
  • God the Father has Complete Authority and Power throughout all dimensions.
  • God the Son Jesus gave His life as our redemption and has All Authority and Power In Heaven and On Earth
    • And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. (Revelation 5:9-10)
    • And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. (Matthew 28:18) (power = Strong’s #G1849 ἐξουσία exousia – means both power and authority)
  • God the Holy Spirit Glorifies Jesus and the Father and is Granted to Christian Believers as the Power of God.
  • God Is Good.
  • God Is Fair (Completely Just in all His Judgments.)
  • Controls Evil
    • And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads. (Revelation 9:3-4)
      • The Seal in their foreheads:
      • After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. (Revelation 7:9-10)
    • Loves Mankind and directly interacts with all mankind all at once with totally secure communications and is completely active instantaneously all the time.
  • GOD IS ETERNAL (Exodus 3:14, Deuteronomy 33:27) with no beginning or end, He is LOVE (I John 4:8), SPIRIT (John 4:24), and TRUTH (Deuteronomy 32:4).
    • And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. (Exodus 3:14)
      • Albert Barnes Commentary: Notes on the Bible (Published 1845, Republished 1885) states, "Iam that I am - That is I am what I am." The words express absolue, and therefore unchanging and eternal being.
    • The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them. (Deuteronomy 33:27)
    • He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. (I John 4:8)
    • God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. (John 4:24)
    • He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he. (Deuteronomy 32:4)
  • GOD IS INVISABLE, UNMUTABLE - Unchangeable He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. (Hebrews 13:8)

  • GOD IS OMNIPRESENT – is everywhere in all dimensions
  • GOD IS OMNISCIENT (John 18:4) That is, “all-knowing” and aware of everything to include change all at the same time everywhere, He is able to interact with everyone and everything at the same time.
    • Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom seek ye? (John 18:4)
  • GOD IS ALL FAITHFUL (Hebrews 2:17) in everything and in every way.
    • Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. (Hebrews 2:17)
  • GOD IS COMPLETELY TRUSTWORTHY:
    • Jesus came that we might have “life and have it more abundantly” with perfect loveingkindness, perfect righteousness, perfect justice, perfect truth, perfect free will to choose, perfect freedom, and the Perfect Law of Liberty.
    • Jesus says, “…I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10b)
    • But let him that glorifier glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.(Jeremiah 9:24)
  • GOD IS ALL POWERFUL AND VICTORIOUS.
  • GOD REVEALS Prophecy and Real Time Events to His Prophets.
    • Then the king of Syria warred against Israel, and took counsel with his servants, saying, In such and such a place shall be my camp. And the man of God sent unto the king of Israel, saying, Beware that thou pass not such a place; for thither the Syrians are come down. And the king of Israel sent to the place which the man of God told him and warned him of, and saved himself there, not once nor twice. Therefore the heart of the king of Syria was sore troubled for this thing; and he called his servants, and said unto them, Will ye not shew me which of us is for the king of Israel? 12 And one of his servants said, None, my lord, O king: but Elisha, the prophet that is in Israel, telleth the king of Israel the words that thou speakest in thy bedchamber. (II Kings 6:8-12)
    • Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. (Amos 3:7)
  • GOD Visits His Wrath on the Wicked, the Evil, the Unrepentant Sinners, the Rebellious, etc.
  • GOD IS OMNIPOTENT or all powerful. 
    • And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. (Matthew 28:18)
  • GOD IS PERFECT in all His ways.
    • As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him. (Psalms 18:30)

Additional Supernatural Attributes & Actions of God:

  • God INHABITS THE PRAISES of Israel (i.e., His People), (Psalms 22:3)
    • But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel. (Psalms 22:3)
  • He hides His Faithful Servants in His SECERT PLACE as the Most High God, (Psalms 91:1)
    • HE that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. (Psalms 91:1)
  • GOD IS a REFUGE AND SAFE PLACE for His servants, (Psalms 91:2)
    • I will say of the LORD , He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. (Psalms 91:2)
  • A THOUSAND SHALL FALL AT THY SIDE AND TEN THOUSAND AT THY RIGHT HAND. (Psalms 91:7)
    • And ye shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword. And five of you shall chase an hundred, and an hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight: and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword. (Leviticus 26:7-8)
    • A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. (Psalms 91:7)
  • His Saints are sealed on their foreheads. (Ezekiel 9:4, Revelation 7:9)
    • And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof. (Ezekiel 9:4)

  • SAINTS ARE NOT HARMED BY GOD’S JUDGMENTS (Revelation 9:4)

  • GOD CREATED the Heavens and the Earth (Genesis 1:1)
    • IN the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. (Genesis 1:1)
  • GOD SPOKE and Created Light, He Created a Firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. He separated the waters and dry land, He Created the Grass, Herbs, and Trees yielding seed and fruit each after its kind, He Created Lights in the Firmament to divide night from day and for signs, seasons, days, and years, He Created the sea creatures and fowls, and He Created the land animals each after its kind (Genesis 1:3, 6, 9, 11, 14, 20, 25)
  • GOD SAYS, I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.(Psalms 45:7)
    • Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. (Psalms 45:7)
  • GOD CREATED MAN IN HIS OWN IMAGE (Genesis 1:27)
    • So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. (Genesis 1:27)
  • GOD CREATED MAN AS A LIVING SOUL. (Genesis 2:7)
    • And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. (Genesis 2:7)
  • GOD CREATED AND CONTROLS the Cherubims and the Flaming Sword (Genesis 3:24)

  • GOD RESPECTED ABEL’S OFFERING (Genesis 4:4) by sending Fire from Heaven and consuming Abel’s offering. (Jasher 1:15)
    • And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering... (Genesis 4:4)
    • And it was at the expiration of a few years, that they brought an approximating offering to the YHWH, and Cain brought from the fruit of the ground, and Abel brought from the firstlings of his flock from the fat thereof, and ELOHIM turned and inclined to Abel and his offering, and a fire came down from the YHWH from heaven and consumed it. (Jasher 1:15)
  • GOD TOOK ENOCH TO HEAVEN (Genesis 5:24)
  • And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him. (Genesis 5:24)
    • (GOD VS SATAN When the fallen angels mated with the women of man their offspring became Giants, but they did not have souls, and after the destruction of their bodies they became wandering evil spirits. (Enoch 15:8))
  • NOAH SURVIVED THE FLOOD by the HAND OF GOD (Genesis 6:9-8:22)
  • GOD CONFOUNDED THE LANGUAGES of man’s seventy families at the Tower of Babel. (Genesis 11:7)
    • Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one anothers speech. (Genesis 11:7)
  • GOD DESTROYED SODOM AND GOMORRAH with Fire and Brimstone. (Genesis 19:24)
    • Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven; And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground. (Genesis 19:24-25)
  • GOD CREATED THE TEN PLAGUES IN EGYPT (Exodus. 7:14-12:32)
  • GOD PARTED THE RED SEA (Exodus 14:1-31)
  • GOD PROVIDED BREAD AND WATER for Israel in the Wilderness (Estimated at three million souls plus livestock). (Exodus 16:1-17:7)
  • GOD CAUSES Israel TO CROSS THE JORDON RIVER ON DRY GROUND at flood stage (Joshua 3:1-17)
  • Jesus was with God and is God and God the Father delighted in God the Son, and God the Son delighted the Creation of man. (John 1:1 and Proverbs 8:30-31)
    • Both Scripture references talk about Jesus. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” (John 1:1)
    • Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him; Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men.” (Proverbs 8:30-31)

For brevity let us stop here in the recounting of God showing Himself as the God of Israel rescuing them as they cried out to Him for forgiveness from their sinful state to include all individuals Grafted in as Christians. (This includes the rest of the Bible and historically even to this Day.)
